Hi there! I'm an Aussie living in the US, previously from Adelaide, and it's wonderful to have another Aussie voice on my iPod for when I'm feeling a little homesick. We were visiting family in Sydney over the QB long weekend, so also got to experience the windstorms and driving rain ... almost got stuck in Singleton while driving up to Tamworth that weekend, only beat the highway closure by about half an hour. Very strange seeing evidence of snow as we drove by ...

Keep up the good work - you sound *so* much more relaxed this episode ... looking forward to the next one!

Thanks very much for the link to the Spindle Maker. I've had a hard time finding really nice spindles online without paying a fortune in shipping them to Australia.

Virginia Farms is also an excellent resource and very helpful & quick to ship. There's also Petlins in Rhodes: http://www.petlins.com/.

Your podcast is just wonderful! Intelligent, interesting, spirited, humorous- I even like yur music choices. (Being an American, I also love your accent. What is it with us Americans and the Aussie accent?) I am a rabid knitter and a growing spinner, but I also like hearing about your other stitch endeavors. You really get to the heart of the various yarn shop personalities too. Keep up the good work!

Hello! I just began listening and I love hearing what you have to say. I also love fairy tales so the changeling stuck out to me right away. I just have to listen to episodes 4 and 5 to be caught up, and I can't wait to hear about spinning, as I've been wanting to take that up recently. I look forward to your next podcast!
